The Douglas Shire's Nanami Anderson continues to celebrate after claimng a silver medal at the Oceania's in Perth just days ago.

Participants from 64 countries across five continents competed at the Oceania's.

Also travelling with Jeff from Coral Coast Judo club was Seth Leaver from Innisfail and Nikita McDonald from Mossman.

Seth picked up fifth place and Nikita fought hard to fall just outside of a medal placing. An excellent effort from these two players in their first competition at this level.
