Port Douglas real estate company Ray White was blessed to play Santa when delivering a sleigh full of gifts to the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre.

These were all generously donated by our kind-hearted community as part of the Little Ray of Giving initiative.

"This is the first year of introducing the Little Ray of Giving to the Douglas Shire and we are overwhelmed by the support," said Mark Flinn, Selling Principal Ray White.

“By encouraging others to shop local to support our struggling small businesses and gifting the Christmas magic to someone less fortunate has hopefully made a two-fold impact on our community," he said.

Christmas is a special time of year that brings with it many emotions and Ray White Port Douglas is looking forward to putting a smile on many more faces next year.

If you want to support this cause there is still time with a Charity Auction being held after the auction of two properties that go under the hammer at Hemingway’s function room on Thursday 23 December at 4:45pm on the boardwalk.

With two original artworks depicting two iconic Port Douglas locations are up for sale by the renowned artist James Fleet, a finalist in the Doug Moran Portraitprize who has had his work on show across the globe.

If you are unable to attend the auction and you would like to phone bid for one of these local art master pieces contact Mark Flinn on 0405 646 313 prior to the 4:45pm auction on Thursday.
