Big Croc gets stuck on ferry cable. - Video:Kubota Sales team at QMAC Machinery.

A large crocodile has found himself in a pickle while attempting to climb over a cable in front of a moving Daintree Ferry over the weekend.

Brent Craighead, a Kubota Salesman for QMAC Machinery was on a delivery run on the north side of the river when he caught the big salty on film as it got stuck attempting to manoeuvrer over the top of the cable in front of stunned onlookers.

“The croc is estimated to be in the region of four metres as confirmed by a ferry worker,” he said.

Mr Craighead said the croc didn’t appear to be caught in any cables and can be seen swimming safely away from the Ferry after giving up and going under the cable instead of over.

The things you see doing Kubota deliveries in this awesome region!!!

“We have had other locals mention the crocs routinely do this to scratch their belly or remove parasites from their belly,” he said.
