The Magic continue to charm at the top of the leaderboard in round two of the Douglas Shire 5’s Junior hockey competition.

The excitement is mounting on Sunday mornings with healthy competition as the boys and girls of the Douglas Hockey Associations Junior’s bring their game faces to Coronation Park Mossman to have a hit on the pitch.

The magic may have dominance at the moment; however, the season is young and there is plenty more hockey to be played as teams battle it out for top spot.

Round two results:

Magic 6 - Lightning 1
Best players: Bryson Collins / Ryo Coombe

Saints 8 - Dynamos 1
Best players: Alex Wearne / Conor O'Neill

Hotshots 8 - Allstars 0
Best players: Jake Howell / Tim Johnston

Round two ladder:

  • Magic - 6 points
  • Lightning -3 points
  • Saints -3 points
  • Dynamos -3 points
  • Hotshots -3 points
  • Allstars - 0 points
