People should not be calling Triple Zero (000) if their only requirement is for transport to a PCR testing clinic says the Queensland Ambulance Service

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) is experiencing a rise in Triple Zero (000) calls from COVID-positive Queenslanders unsure what to do about their diagnosis.

We need to 'Save Triple Zero (000) for Saving Lives' and are urging the public to only call Triple Zero (000) in an emergency for severe symptoms or if hospital assessment is required.

People should not be calling Triple Zero (000) if their only requirement is for transport to a PCR testing clinic or for general information or advice.

The QAS has launched a campaign to 'Save Triple Zero (000) for Saving Lives'.
