Excitement is in the air as the buzz and swooshes of ziplining will once again thrill adrenaline seekers in the Daintree when Treetops Adventure Cape Tribulation opens in June.

Located on the site formally known as Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours, the popular adventure tourism activity allows visitors to the Douglas Shire another eco-exhilarating nature-based activity in one of the world’s top destinations for outdoor adventure.

Visitors will be able to experience an awe-inspiring swooshing bird’s eye view of the ancient Daintree Rainforest as they soar high above the luscious green jungle up to 15 metres above ground at the completely redesigned and rebuilt adventure park.

Beyond offering a thrilling journey through a stunning nature-scape, Treetop Adventure will combine four separate ziplines varying in length between 20 – 130 meters, suspended bridges, cables, and nets for visitors to explore at their own pace while outfitted in safety gear and taught by experienced guides on how to navigate the course.

Treetops Adventure Group General Manager, Nicolas Dansin, said the much-anticipated zipline adventure tour will provide the perfect opportunity to showcase the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest and National Park to travellers of all ages and abilities.

“We want to provide a premium experience for every level of fitness and age,” Mr. Dansin said.

“Our tours will cater to anyone who wants to experience these incredible natural surroundings in an exciting way,” Dansin continued.

The park has followed rigid Australian standards when building the adventure course as well as adopting eco-friendly techniques to ensure the long-term preservation, of the world's oldest living rainforest.

“The protection of the rainforest and of our host trees is vital to the integrity of our tours. We care not only for our customer’s safety but for the health of the rainforest,” said Mr. Dansin.

Treetops Adventure Group is the “family adventure” division of adventure and lifestyle tourism company, Experience Co. The Park will employ up to 15 people to assist in the daily operations of the facility and hopes to bring 10,000 visitors to the area annually. It will be partnering closely with the local community and tour operators in the area.
