This ultimate event on Sunday 13 August serves as the heart of the much-anticipated 2023 Taste Port Douglas Food & Drink Festival.

After four days of canapé parties, long lunches and indulgent dinners, the festival village takes centre stage as the ultimate culinary highlight of the annual celebration, showcasing Tropical North Queensland's rich food culture and breathtaking outdoor lifestyle.

Within the Festival Village, an entire day unfolds with live cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, VIP indulgences, a diverse array of food and beverage stalls, engaging masterclasses and the perfect touch of live music to create an unforgettable experience.

Spencer Patrick, Culinary Director at Taste Port Douglas, said that this year’s Sheraton Festival Village promises to be a grand celebration of taste and culture.

The Moffat Main Stage

Get ready for an epic celebration of flavours with all-day live cooking demos by a star-studded lineup of celebrity chefs.

Prepare to be mesmerised by an array of culinary luminaries, including Matt Preston with his mouth watering ‘Pork Belly Bites’ and Jake Nicolson showing the audience how to cook the most delicious fried chicken ever. 

Between demos, visit the Gourmet Lawn for live music, roving performers, face painting, kids' yoga, and fun lawn games under palm trees.

Embark on a diverse culinary journey at this year's restaurant food stalls.

Local favourites like Jade Inn Chinese Restaurant, The Mexican Port Douglas, Harrisons Restaurant, and the new-kid-on-the-block Lagoon House Restaurant will serve up delectable menus with their signature flavours

Joining the line-up, Catchers and Growers, Daintree Saltwater Barramundi, and Portside Galley will add to the excitement with local seafood dishes, both hot and cold.

Don't miss Frankie's gourmet hot dog van and keep an eye out for the dedicated oyster stall, 'Shucked', catering to all oyster lovers.
