Police to discuss Cooktown death
PRESS CONFERENCE

Police are due to hold a press conference in a matter of hours this morning in relation to the sudden death of a 38 year-old woman near Cooktown a short time ago.
Queensland Police confirmed they were called to a Bradbury Street residence, roughly10km from Cooktown’s main centre at about 5pm Monday following indications a deceased female had been located.
From there, Police set up a crime scene with Cooktown’s CIB now looking into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
“Anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage in either area at the time is urged to contact police," Police said in an appeal for public information.
