‘No frills’ local transfer service makes every mile count

Meet Matt Skubala, long-time Port Douglas local and owner of private transfer and shuttle service Beep Beep Toot.
With his down to earth drive he has a passion for getting locals and visitors from A to B in, what he calls, our “little slice of paradise” while ensuring they get the best service possible.
And for the interested passenger, Mr Skubala loves to give away his best local-insider tips on the best places to see, restaurants to experience and the most exciting activities in the area.
FOUNDED ON COMMUNITY IDEALISM
Started in 2020, Beep Beep Toot was originally founded on a community idealism of getting people between towns at a cheaper price.
As such, Mr Skubala and his colleagues were providing free services during the start of the pandemic.
“To help out the local community that extra bit during these difficult times, we transfered people between Port Douglas and Mossman Centrelink and the Courthouse,” Mr Skubala explained.
Now Beep Beep Toot offers the cheapest ways for locals and visitors to travel to Cairns Airport and local attractions including Mossman Gorge, Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, Skypark Bungy and Skyrail Cableway.
“With two fleets based in Port Douglas and Cairns, we operate up to ten shuttle services a day between Port Douglas, Hartley's, Palm Cove and Cairns and twice daily to Mossman Gorge,” Mr Skubala said.
“Utilising a fleet of Imax's and buses, we also provide Meet & Greet, Private and VIP transfer services between Port Douglas, Cairns, Cairns Airport, Palm Cove, Thala Beach, and Silky Oaks Lodge.”
NEW BOOKING SYSTEM
As Mr Skubala always has a vision for the better, Beep Beep Toot is launching a new ‘Live Availability’ booking system this week for door-to-door shuttle services.
“This is the first such booking system for consumer ease of use that will be available on our website and on Experience Oz - for hotel booking and travel agents,” Mr Skubala said.
“What's even better is that customers also get 10 percent off when they book their return door-to-door shuttle or private transfer online.”
MORE THAN A SHUTTLE SERVICE
Many people may not know that Beep Beep Toot is part of a bigger business group.
“Under the umbrella of the Beep Beep Group Of Businesses, we also operate several travel agencies, a courier service and a campervan relocation agency,” Mr Skubala explained.
“We provide wedding charters, group bus transfers, campervan relocations and courier services. And from our new travel agency located at the Cairns Night Markets we offer travel and tour booking services.
“On top of that we also offer a range of online services with our Cairns and Port Douglas Tour Centres.”
