In the midst of a recession that has cast a shadow over the past 12 months and with the economic storm clouds that are brewing, the role of a reliable finance broker has never been more crucial.

Port Douglas local accounting firm, Williams Cete & Co, is stepping up to the challenge by introducing a cutting-edge in-house finance service aimed at guiding clients through these uncertain times.

Principal Mitch Williams explained that their new in-house finance service is going to be brilliant for all their existing clients.

“With access to 60 lenders, Williams Cete & Co can find accounting clients the most competitive loan for every individual circumstance,” he said.

“Given we already hold our clients' personal, taxation and financial info, we can move swiftly on their finance needs.

“In light of the interest rate increases over the last 12 months, having a strong relationship with a finance broker who will regularly review your circumstances is critical.”

Also catering to the general public

According to Mr Williams, what distinguishes Williams Cete & Co is the extension of their finance service beyond accounting clients, catering to the general public as well.

“Our finance service is available to the general public and not just clients of the accounting practice,” he explained. “All the clients of the accounting practice will be benefiting from our new finance service without having to lift a finger.”

Expansion

Following the firm’s expansion plans, experienced professional Alex Cook has recently joined the firm, bringing a wealth of expertise from both the local and national market.

“Following the purchase of the practice from SiDCOR in April, I always had the intention of expanding our services and finance broking was the most logical first step,” Mr Williams said.

“I have known Alex for a couple of years and after a few planning meetings, we both felt this was a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved and most importantly our clients.”
