BREAKING: Motorcyclist dies after crashing into stationary utility
ACCIDENT

An elderly man has died after his motorbike collided with a vehicle this morning in the South of Cairns.
Around 7.30am a 69-year-old Trinity Beach struck a stationary utility at the intersection of Lyons Street and Ray Jones Drive.
Police said the rider was transported to Cairns Hospital with critical injuries where he later died.
Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision from the area to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
