Teenage female offender busted for 35 alleged offences

A 16 year-old female has been denied bail after being charged with a staggering 35 alleged offences following a recent properly related crime spree in the Far North.
Police confirmed the 16-year-old girl has been charged with twelve counts each of enter dwelling and commit and unlawful use of a motor vehicle, seven counts of stealing, two counts of enter premise and commit indictable offence and one count each attempted enter premise and attempted stealing.
The same alleged offender was also identified multiple times over the past three weeks travelling in stolen cars and being involved in fuel drive offs across the Greater Cairns area.
Police further allege that on February 14 the girl along with co-offenders allegedly broke into an Edgehill unit stealing keys and a black Corolla.
She was eventually arrested in the early hours of last Saturday morning at a Bentley Park residence following extensive investigations by local Police.
A 17-year-old White Rock boy, located the same premise was also charged with 10 offences, including three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts each of attempted enter dwelling and unlicenced driving, and one count each of enter dwelling and commit, stealing and receiving tainted property.
Police will allege the 17-year-old boy also attended a Bentley Park address last Friday where he stole keys and a Hyundai Kona. His bail was also denied and he too, is set to appear in Cairns Children’s Court.
