Port Douglas dive centre recognised for outstanding contribution to diver training

Quicksilver Dive's Port Douglas Training Centre has been awarded the “Outstanding Contribution to Diver Training” by PADI, the world's leading dive training organisation. This recognition highlights the centre's commitment to high standards in diver education, particularly in adaptive techniques and significant growth in certifications.
Tony Baker, Managing Director of Quicksilver Group, commended the team of instructors for their consistent delivery of quality training, noting the centre's distinction as Queensland's first PADI Adaptive Service Facility, which expands scuba diving access for individuals with special needs.
PADI Regional Manager Australia, Annie Halloran, praised Quicksilver Dive for achieving a 47 percent increase in certifications and for being a trailblazer among Adaptive Techniques Centres in Australia. The Outstanding Contribution Awards are presented annually to select PADI members who show exceptional dedication to diver training.
Chris Snel, Operations Manager at Quicksilver Dive, stated the organisation's commitment to providing quality education across all levels, ensuring confidence among students from entry-level to advanced divers.
