A man in his 50s continues to recover and three others walked away unscathed following a single vehicle accident in the Douglas Shire last night.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told Newsport four people were assessed for injuries after they responded to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover on the corner of Mossman Daintree Road and Rocky point School Road at 10.22pm.

The man in his 50s was transported to Mossman Hospital in a stable condition with back pain complaints while the three other occupants declined any medical attention or transport offers.

The cause of the accident remains unknown.
