The Douglas Shire's Nate Martinelli has continued to show his boxing talent this time at the North Queensland Games staged in Cairns over the past three days.

A second event was also also held in conjunction with the Games for the under-19s school age state championship with competitors from all across the State taking the opportunity to compete.

Nate, who trains under head coach Aaron Wellman at Evolve Boxing And Fitness-Machans Beach competed in the 52kg class over the three days, in which he claimed both the NQ and State titles.
