Fev says top ticket holder choice is a Croc

Controversial AFL star Brendan Fevola has taken to social media to tee off at the Port Douglas Crocs, saying it is a load of Croc that comedian Stephen Curry has been given the status of number one ticket holder.
In a post on the Port Douglas Crocs Facebook page as the season kicked off, Fev says it is ridiculous that he - a former AFL star with Carlton and Brisbane and now radio presenter - was not elevated to the position.
“I love Port Douglas, and my nickname is The Croc, and they’ve gone and chosen the number one ticket holder by the name of Stephen Curry,’’ Fev opens the post with.
“Now, Cuz… a Collingwood supporter, short, old. Not sure if he’s ever been to Port Douglas, not sure if he’s ever played footy before.
“Does footy ads… average. Pretty disappointed that they’ve chosen him as the number one ticket holder for the club when I could have been chosen.
“How would you have not picked me to be the number one ticket holder. I go to Port Douglas, I could have played a game for you guys.
“I could have ran out and kicked 12, had fun, got on the piss.
“Cuz, what can he do… sing? He can’t even do that.”
But in a twist almost certainly staged by the ever-popular host of the Port Shorts Film Festival, Fev turned the tables on his rant.
“I’m bloody disappointed, but I hope that you have a great year and if Stephen Curry does go up for a function can I please be his plus one?’’ Fevola asked.
“We are best mates… your my best mate. I’ve known him for about five minutes and we are literally best mates.
“I could be his handbag. Get me up to Port Douglas…. Maybe I can play a game.
“Good luck for the rest of the year. Go the Crocs!”
