A Far North Queensland small business owner has captured some stunning footage of two Mowbray River crocodiles sunning themselves just outside of Port Douglas.
Tim Sparks, who lives in Cairns but visits Douglas Shire regularly for his work as a pressure cleaner, loves to fly his drone during his lunch breaks and other down times.
But he was in for a treat recently when he found a pair of crocs together on the banks of the Mowbray River - a popular spot for tourists to stop off in the hope of capturing a glimpse of the majestic, yet dangerous, beasts.
Tim told Newsport one of the crocs was well over 3m, while the other was a juvenile looking like he was happy to keep his distance from the other dominant male.
