Join the flock on the Nativity Sheep Trail
Family Christmas fun
The ever popular Mossman Uniting Church annual Nativity Sheep Trail event has set out to share the joy of Christmas for its fifth time.
Nativity Sheep Trail coordinator Janelle Shrimpton has encouraged all to take part in the Mossman community event which runs from Tuesday, November 25 to Thursday, December 18.
The Nativity Sheep Trail is designed to bring people into local businesses and to share the Christmas story.
Participating shops in Mossman will have a cute little sheep, wearing a name tag, displayed somewhere in their business. They will also have entry forms and will display a poster at the front of their shop.
The concept is for families and children to pick up an entry form in the stores and follow the trail through town, visit the participating businesses, finding all the sheep and recording their names on the entry form.
A box at Bartolos shop will be provided for completed entry forms to be deposited.
All entries that have the correct names will go into the draw to win a family Christmas Gift Basket.
The Nativity Sheep Trail prize draw will take place at the Community Carols under the Raintrees on Sunday, December 21. If not present at the draw the winner will be notified by phone.
“Come and support your local community and see if you can find all the sheep!!! Janelle said.
