It’s that time of year again; the planning, prepping, and cooking for Christmas. While celebrating at home is always nice, sometimes the best way to enjoy it is to hand it over and be served. Ramada Port Douglas has you covered.
At 3Sixteen Bar and Bistro, guests can soak up tropical vibes and relax poolside while enjoying a festive feast, making it the perfect way to celebrate without the stress of cooking or cleaning.
Christmas Lunch Buffet
On Christmas Day, December 25, the resort will host a festive lunch buffet from 12pm to 3pm, complete with complimentary drinks, a selection of seasonal cocktails, and plenty of fun for the kids.
Little ones can get creative with gingerbread decorating from 12pm, enjoy Christmas movies in a dedicated kids’ area, and around mid-morning, Santa himself will arrive from the wharf bringing candy gifts for the children.
The buffet offers something for everyone, from freshly baked breads and a variety of salads, to local prawns, smoked salmon, whole baked reef fish, and oysters on the half shell.
Heartier options include pig on the spit, glazed leg ham with chef carving, roasted lemon chicken, a roasted vegetable medley, and a vegan lentil curry.
The festive feast is finished with gingerbread, yule log cakes, a chocolate fountain, fruit platters, and even a sweet train.
Festive Christmas-themed cocktails will be available throughout the week and on the day, adding to the celebratory spirit.

Christmas Night Feast
For those who still have room in the evening, the resort is also offering a Christmas Night Feast from 5pm to 8pm, featuring the regular dinner menu alongside a special Christmas selection to cap off the celebrations.
