Boutique estate offers “beachy” luxury in prime Port Douglas location
BECHÉ ESTATE

BUSINESS FEATURE
A new luxury estate is taking shape in one of Port Douglas’s most sought-after pockets. Just across from the Pullman Sea Temple and a short stroll from Four Mile Beach, BeCHé Port Douglas (pronounced “beachy”) is setting a fresh benchmark in modern tropical living.
Developed by the Allaro Homes Collection, a trusted family business with over 130 years of experience in North Queensland, BeCHé brings together Mediterranean elegance and relaxed coastal charm.
Troy Cavallaro, Director of Technology at Allaro Homes, said the name BeCHé captures the spirit of the development: “A curated balance of barefoot luxury and architectural refinement, exactly what the development delivers.”
So what sets BeCHé apart from other residential estates in Port Douglas?
“It starts with location,” Mr Cavallaro said. “BeCHé enjoys an unrivalled position next to Four Mile Beach, Sea Temple Resort, and Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course.
“No other new estate in Port Douglas offers this level of lifestyle access.”
That premium location is paired with standout design.
Inspired by high-end beachside markets, BeCHé homes feature soft curves, elegant arches, and durable, low-maintenance materials perfect for tropical living.
The result is a development that appeals to a broad but discerning mix of buyers.
“We’re seeing interest from families, retirees, locals, golfers, and investors, all drawn to BeCHé’s rare combination of location, lifestyle, and long-term value,” Mr Cavallaro said.
“What connects them is a shared desire for low-maintenance living, smart design, and effortless access to everything Port Douglas has to offer.”
Development progress
BeCHé is well underway, with civil works now complete and around 40 percent of the landscaping already in place.
Land title registration and settlements are just weeks away, marking the start of the vertical build phase.
The Display Suite is now open by appointment, offering buyers a closer look at what’s to come.
Construction of at least five homes will begin immediately following settlement, with the first residents expected to move in from 2026.
Only 18 blocks remain in the current release, and future stages are already in planning to meet growing demand.
Buyers can choose from five architecturally designed home styles or customise their build within the estate’s design guidelines.
Turnkey packages start from $1.5 million, with larger double-storey homes priced from $1.9 million.
“With comparable finished homes in Port Douglas now selling for more than $3.5 million, BeCHé presents one of the best value upscale opportunities in today’s market,” Mr Cavallaro said.
Build times are estimated at around six months for single-storey homes and up to 14 months for double-storey builds.
Sustainability at the core
BeCHé is built with long-term sustainability and resilience in mind.
Elevated land and advanced stormwater systems help protect surrounding properties, including nearby aged care homes.
Environmental care was prioritised from the start; preserving trees, repurposing timber, and relocating native bees and over 140 plant species to conservation areas.
Each home includes a wellness package with daylight-mimicking lighting, whole-house water and air filtration, low-VOC materials, and a food waste disposer.
The estate also features an embedded solar network that powers shared community assets and keeps body corporate fees as low as $1,200 per year.
“It’s not just one feature, it’s a complete, integrated system that improves how you feel, how you live, and your environmental footprint all at once,” Mr Cavallaro explained.
