Police seek assistance on Palm Cove assault

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist investigators after an alleged assault of a man in Palm Cove on Saturday, September 20.
Investigations indicate that around 11pm, police were called to a William Esplanade nightclub, following reports of a physical altercation between three people.
A 21-year-old Kewarra Beach man sustained serious leg injuries during the altercation.
It is believed that a male then left the scene on foot following the incident.
Police have released an image of a man who they believe could assist with investigations into the matter.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this male is urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
