Local passion leads to top agent accolade for Charlie Madgwick

Loving where you live is often said to be the key to selling a region and few embody that more than local real estate agent Charlie Madgwick.
The Raine & Horne Mossman sales representative has been named Top Agent 2025 by Real Estate Australia for Mossman, Shannonvale and Wonga Beach, recognising both her results and her deep understanding of the local market.
Having grown up in the Douglas Shire and now raising her own family in Shannonvale, her lifelong connection to the region naturally shapes the way she works.
“It was a lovely surprise to be recognised as the top agent for these areas,” she said.
“I do spend most of my time running around Mossman and Wonga Beach, and I live in Shannonvale, so I would say I am definitely an area expert there.
“I feel my results come from a genuine desire to find people their dream homes. I absolutely love where we live and being able to show it off to clients who are new to the area
“Every day I’m working to connect the dots for buyers and sellers, while sharing local tips on everything from the best donuts to walking tracks and wet season living.
“I still get a thrill from our stunning surroundings and never take it for granted. We are so lucky to live here.”
Looking ahead, Charlie hopes for greater stability for the region’s farming community following several challenging years and the closure of the Mossman Mill.
“I am hopeful that our farming community finds some security in the coming years after such a difficult time,” she said.
“I am remaining optimistic that no matter what, we will band together and support each other through the next chapter.”
Her motivation, she said, remains unchanged.
“My focus will always be to keep helping people through the property journey. Sometimes it’s emotional and uncertain, but more often it’s exhilarating, and I will continue to try to make people’s dreams come true.”
