The Port Douglas Crocs had to fight hard to put away a gallant Cairns Cutters outfit on Saturday, eventually winning by 13 points.
Guest player former AFL All Australian Dylan Shiel helped belt out the song at the end of the game, ending up in the middle with a big smile on his face.
But the Crocs had to fight harder for the 12.16 (88) to 11.9 (75) win than any game this year, trailing at the first quarter break by 21 points and every other break, but gradually clawing their way in front in the last quarter.
The Crocs women went down 0.6 (6) to 3.6 (24).
This week the Crocs are away to North Cairns Tigers.
