Far North Queensland’s premier music festival kicks off tomorrow and runs all this weekend.

The Savannah in the Round festival at Mareeba features a massive bill of world-class artists, including Icehouse, Don McLean, Missy Higgins, Tyler Braden, Lee Kernaghan, Ian Moss, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Wolfe Brothers, San Cisco, Busby Marou, Mental as Anything, Ganggajang and Kingswood.

Last year Savannah in the Round was believed to deliver more than $7.4m to Mareeba Shire, largely driven by visitors travelling from outside the region and staying multiple nights.

The festival attracted close to 12,000 visitors and more than 30,000 attendances across four days.
