LETTER | Employee’s fond memory of Tony Sassi
LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor,
Please send my deepest condolences to Tony Sassi’s family on his demise.
I am Wong Loke Hoi from Malaysia Kuala Lumpur .
I met Tony Sassi in 1974, 47 years ago when he employed me as a part-timer, to work in his restaurant in Melbourne.
I worked with him for five years and came back to Malaysia after my graduation.
When I found out that he had moved to Port Douglas, I planned to pay him a visit, but unfortunately due to the Covid Pandemic, I have had to defer the plan.
I will always remember and cherish the wonderful time when I worked with him and all his staff in his two restaurants in Melbourne.
- Wong Loke Hoi
Thank you!
