Mossman are expected to prove too strong for Edmonton tomorrow night.

After turning in their best performance of the season to down Brothers Mossman Port Douglas Sharks return to their home deck where they are expected to prove way too powerful for an Edmonton Sharks side currently languishing last on the CRDL ladder.

Mossman sits atop of the ladder alongside both Atherton and Brothers while the Sharks’ for and against is just shy of both their big rivals.

While the Sharks are known for their attack it’s been their defence that has shone in recent weeks.

Despite tomorrow night’s encounter appearing to be an assignment on paper it’s worth nothing that Edmonton played above themselves when the two sides met earlier in the season at Petersen Park.

The Sharks won their round two battle 34-20, but only poor second half discipline and two quick runaway tries to Mossman separated the two sides.

Tomorrow’s match gets underway from 6pm at Coronation Park.
