Anyone missing a digit?

That’s the question many locals asked each other a beachgoer made an apparent peculiar discovery yesterday afternoon during a stroll at none other then south Four Mile beach.

The lone finger quickly got the Douglas Shire talking and many wanted to know who among them was potentially walking around without one of their fingers.

The case of the missing digit generated rapid social media interest with many keen followers asking finger finder Tammy Threlfall to take a closer, second look at the digit to verify its real - or lack of realness.

Upon a further inspection Tammy soon humorously confirmed to the Port Douglas/ Mossman social media community that the washed up digit - was indeed - rubber, and laying in wait to catch out its next unsuspecting finger finder.
