I’M THE CROC KILLER – man makes taunting claims he beheaded the Cow Bay croc AND also killed ‘Lizzie’ the Daintree River Queen
BIZZARE CLAIMS

A man has called and made taunting claims to a local tour operator suggesting he’s the one responsible for the beheading of a crocodile found dead at Cow Bay on April 13.
Unbelievably, in the same conversation the same individual said he also killed the much loved ‘Lizzie’ who was found dead on May 18 on the bank beside a tourist operator’s moored vessel on the Daintree river.
The Department of Environment and Science (DES) said ‘Lizzie’ was estimated to be forty years old. She was last seen alive on 11 May by a Daintree River tour group operator.
The Department of Environment and Science (DES) has launched an immediate investigation into the claims and “fears the (Cow Bay croc at the very least) was targeted and deliberately killed”.
People are reminded that crocodiles in Queensland are a vulnerable species and are protected under the Nature Conservation Act 1992.
Anyone with information about these incidents, or with information about people in possession of crocodile skulls or other body parts, should call 1300 130 372 or contact the Queensland Police Service.
*To ensure complete clarity the man who made the phone call is the one claiming he, himself, allegedly killed the two crocs, NOT the tour operator.
