Taste Port Douglas ticket sales open and Newsport gives away two double passes

The countdown has begun for the seventh edition of Taste Port Douglas as the ticket sale has officially opened on June 20.. Excitingly, Newsport has a fantastic opportunity for readers to win tickets for this extraordinary event.
From 10 to 13 August, prepare to embark on a tantalising culinary journey across Port Douglas as an all-star lineup of Australian chefs and hospitality talent team up with leading local producers and restaurants to deliver an extraordinary array of experiences.
Ticket sales have now opened for the entire program including the one-day Sheraton Festival Village on Sunday 13 August.
Co-founders Reina and Spencer Patrick expressed their excitement to collaborate with Australia's diverse culinary community, emphasising the festival's reputation as a dynamic gourmet weekend.
“We are stoked to collaborate with Australia’s diverse and talented culinary community at Taste Port Douglas,” Mr Patrick expressed.
According to Ms Patrick ticket sales have already been met with tremendous enthusiasm, with fifty percent of some event tickets already claimed during the exclusive pre-sale for subscribers.
“Those interested in attending are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly, particularly for the highly limited masterclasses, which also provide complimentary access to the Sheraton Festival Village,” she addressed.
Highlights
Joining forces with local producers and restaurants, twenty of Australia's top chefs and industry experts will showcase the finest tropical produce in a curated program of more than twenty food and drink events over four days.
Highlights include a Night of Fire x Flames of the Forest, where Bente Grysbaek and Ben Williamson will surprise guests with an intimate outdoor dinner featuring live fire cooking.
MC Guy Grossi will lead La Dolce Vita, an unforgettable Italian Feast overlooking Dicksons Inlet, presented by renowned Italian chefs.
Cafe del Mar and Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort will create the ultimate Sunset Session and the grand finale, the Sheraton Festival Village, will feature live cooking demos by celebrity chefs, a VIP Lounge and engaging Culinary Conversations.
