Last weekend, Starlight Movies made its debut in Rex Smeal Park, Port Douglas. Known for their outdoor movie screenings in regional and outback areas, the company has set the stage for another weekend under the starlit sky. And tonight, they have something extraordinary in store for the audience.
Starlight Movies is set to screen the Academy Award-winning movie 'Elvis,' followed by a live broadcast of Elvis Presley's iconic 'Aloha From Hawaii' concert, transporting viewers back in time to witness the legend in action.
The movie 'Elvis' is a riveting portrayal of the life of the American rock and roll singer and actor Elvis Presley during his career under the management of Colonel Tom Parker.
The film stars the talented Austin Butler as Presley, who flawlessly brings the iconic performer's charisma and stage presence to life. Accompanying him is Tom Hanks, who embodies the enigmatic figure of Colonel Parker with captivating nuance.
The groundbreaking performance of Elvis' legendary 'Aloha From Hawaii' concert, took place at the Honolulu International Center on January 14, 1973 and was a historic moment in music history.
Delivered via satellite, the concert reached audiences in Asia and Oceania, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of fans worldwide.

Starlight Movies has partnered with 'The Kids Cancer Project' to raise awareness and funds for the advancement of childhood cancer research.
Monies raised will be used to support childhood cancer research.
Music will start from 6 pm with the main feature movie after sunset at 7 pm with Elvis alive in Concert following the movie
