Everyone made to feel welcome at Wonga Beach
SCHOOL WRAP

Wonga Beach State School has celebrated diversity with a vibrant Harmony Week, bringing students, staff, and families together to embrace the many cultures that make up their community.
Under the theme "Everyone Belongs", the school organised activities for week-long diversity celebration, which goes from from March 17-23, focused on inclusivity and connection, uniting all students from Kindy through to Year 6.
The celebrations kicked off with a St Patrick’s Day green free-dress day, hosted by the Student Council.
Students started the morning with green pancakes at the Breakfast Club, adding a fun and festive touch to the occasion.
A highlight of the week was a collaborative art project, where every student contributed their own creative piece to form a stunning whole-school display reflecting the Harmony Week motto.
The artwork symbolised unity and diversity, reinforcing the message that everyone has a place at the school.
The school week wrapped up with a morning tea, bringing students and staff together to share food, laughter, and stories.
It was a simple, yet meaningful, way to celebrate a school culture where every student feels valued and included.
