Have you ever dreamt of managing a resort or luxury hotel in paradise?
Well, there are a couple up for grabs in Port Douglas at the moment.
The management and letting rights of Port Douglas Peninsula Boutique Hotel at the Flagstaff Hill end of The Esplanade on Four Mile Beach have been put up for sale by multi-million-dollar resort company Mandala Hotel and Resorts for $5.75m.
And the management rights of the high-profile Reef Club Resort on Port Douglas Road are also on sale for $1.35m.
Resortbrokers agent Leah Bursztynowicz said the Peninsula Boutique made an annual net profit of more than $980,000 and the occupancy rate was more than 80 per cent.
“Management and letting rights of this scale and calibre in a tourist location of international repute are extremely rare,” she said.
A 30-second walk to Macrossan Street, the adult-only hotel includes the Hi-Tide restaurant, an outdoor pool and jacuzzi and private balconies.
The vendor, Mandala, has a national portfolio of more than 30 Australian locations worth more than $250m.
The Reef Club is a 60-unit holiday complex, with about 30 of those in the letting pool.
The resort is in a prime location near Four Mile Beach and the centre of Port Douglas, and includes a pool and other amenities.
