Mossman High School’s seniors Class of 2025 turned out in style at Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas on Friday, September 5 for the Year 12 Formal.
The night’s highlights were kicked off with the arrivals from 5pm to 6pm, parents and families on hand to see the spectacular formal transformations of the students, some arriving in classy cars, while all excited for the night.
Students moved into the Ballroom for dinner followed by dancing, with the event concluding at 9pm.
A photobooth with balloon backdrop was in place to capture images of the special night.
Head of Department Senior School Belinda Guthrie said it was a relief the night ran as planned.
“The students looked absolutely spectacular, and their arrivals with the fancy cars and pomp and ceremony was a highlight for everyone who witnessed it,’’ she said.
“It is wonderful to have families and community members share this part of the evening. The Year 12 students’ conduct and behaviour throughout the evening was exemplary, and they were wonderful ambassadors for Mossman High School.
“Our school is very proud of this cohort and wish them all the very best as they head into their final senior exams.’’
