POLICE NEWS: Injuries after Captain Cook Highway crash

A pair of men have been rushed to hospital by ambulance after the car they were travelling in crashed at Wangetti on Saturday night.
One of the occupants sustained shoulder injuries, while the other had minor injuries, after they crashed on the Captain Cook Highway at about 1.50am on Sunday, December 14.
The men were taken to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition and no other cars were involved in the incident.
Police remind drivers to stay alert on the Highway, which is classed as a high-crash zone.
The Queensland Ambulance Service could not provide any further details about the incident.
