POLICE NEWS: Cow Bay woman revealed as fatal-crash victim

The 43-year-old who died on Monday evening in a car crash just north of the Daintree River Ferry crossing has been revealed as Cow Bay woman Zoe Brazukas.
Just after 6.30pm a white Toyota hilux containing just a driver crashed into an embankment on Cape Tribulation Road at Kimberley and rolled onto the roof, killing Ms Brazukas, who was a caretaker at the now-closed Cow Bay Hotel.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene, but the woman was pronounced dead.
Forensic crash investigators are investigating the incident.
Friends have paid tribute to the much-loved local resident in a series of online posts.
