Douglas Shire Council, along with the wider community, is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life following the car accident at Oak Beach on Friday.

Our thoughts are with the families, loved ones and all those affected during this incredibly difficult time.

Out of respect for community grieving and Sorry Business, Council has made the decision to postpone Yalanji RAW at Mossman Gorge this Saturday.

We appreciate the community’s understanding and support and hope to reschedule the reconciliation event later this year.
