Two people shot by police in Mt Sheridan incident

Two people have been shot by police following an incident at Mount Sheridan this evening, Saturday, July 25.
Officers were initially called to Benjamina Street around 5:10pm following reports of a man armed with knives.
Upon arrival, police attempted to engage with the man, before the man was shot by officers.
During the altercation, a civilian woman also sustained a gunshot wound.
Both persons were being treated by emergency services at the time of Queensland Police issuing the report, around 6pm.
There is currently no threat to the public, and further information will be provided when available.
