A 59-year-old man has been charged with drug possession and other offences after a police raid on a Mareeba home on Sunday found cocaine and methylamphetamine buried in a sock in the backyard.
When police raided the Fraser Street, Mareeba, home, they allegedly found methylamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis and $5000 cash.
The Mareeba man was charged with a range of drug-possession offences, possessing drug utensils, and possession of property suspected of being acquired with proceeds of an offence.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on Monday, September 28.
