I’ve got that winning feeling this week… even though my Port Douglas Crocs playing days are long gone.

We are on a bit of a roll here in the Douglas Shire, on and off the sporting fields.

But while we (those with good hamstrings at least) are on it - the footy field that is - how good do the boys, and the girl Crocs, look this season? Set for some celebrations that will make Shona proud, I am sure of it.

I’m getting good vibes for the footy around town outside of the local competition too. People seem up and about around town in general… may have something to do with the Swans and Demons good form is my guess.

And across the waters, all the way to Glasgow, our man Matt Sheppard put in a stellar performance with a lump of lead to make us all very proud and keep the good vibes rolling.

Even the million dollar sprinklers and showers on the Four Mile foreshore have made a splash with some “fun space” experts this week!

Winning indeed we are.

There have been some losses though. The Datto took a duck dive on the Creb Track last week… they really need to warn people not to drive that track with the windows down.

But I’m hopeful of it being resurrected before too long as it is quite valuable. Not just because it sports both a 2020 and 2023 Crocs Premiership sticker but it has at least $181 worth of fuel in the tank.
