If you’ve seen Nicky G’s toad-racing show at Chilly’s pizza restaurant, you know it’s a lot of fun.

So much fun, in fact, that it’s starting to attract a national TV audience.

Earlier this month, the TV-show crew from hit Channel 8/9 show Travel Guides was in Port Douglas filming the toad racing for a segment on their show.

This included at least four cameras, a couple of boom mikes, a suitably bossy floor manager, and some extra energy from the national and international audience.

They were all watching on as host Nicky G strutted his stuff in front of the adoring crowd.

Travel Guides recently won its fifth consecutive Logie for Best Lifestyle Program.
