Slime time is proving to be a marketer's dream

A pair of pint-sized entrepreneurs have been taking Port Douglas Markets by storm with their stylish new stall proving to be a big hit.
Cooya Beach sisters Chloe, 10, and Charlotte, 8, have been making their own range of the kids’ toy slime, and the professional-looking launch of their stall next to their mum’s jewellery recently attracted a lot of attention.
“We were out the front of the stall and mum’s stuff was on the side,” they say.
“We made a lot more money than her.”
Mum Erin says she may rethink the stall design this week.
Then, the following day, Erin posted a short video of Chloe serving a customer and, within 24 hours, it had reached more than 180,000 views on Instagram, including attracting interest from outside Australia and requests for them to take the slime bar to other events.
The young businesswomen have been working on the idea for a while now.
“We wanted to set up a stall out the front for ages, like two years,” Chloe says.
“And mum decided we could do a cart at the markets,” Charlotte adds.
