In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and nurturing the park's diverse foliage, with a specific focus on cultivating plants essential for the well-being of our beloved koalas and Tree kangaroos.

Skills and Experience Required:
Demonstrated experience in horticultural practices and plantation management.
Knowledge of plant species suitable for koala nutrition and habitat enhancement, along with local flora and fauna
Excellent observation skills
Chainsaw certification (or willingness to obtain)
Effective communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
Attention to detail in plantation care, hygiene, and record-keeping.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Manual drivers' licence is essential for role.

Bay Villas Resort is currently searching for a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to join their friendly team 3 to 4 days a week. Experience not a necessity. Full training can be provided to the right person.

The duties and responsibilities will include:
• Perform accurate and efficient guest check-in, check-outs and accurate credit
card, cash handling and postings .

AIRPORT TRANSFER DRIVERS

Exemplar Coaches and Limousines is the leading airport transfer company in the Cairns-Port Douglas region. We have specialised in airport transfers for over 30 years. No local town shuttle work is expected. Our head office and depot is located in Craiglie.
We currently seek airport transfer drivers who reside in the Port Douglas and Mossman area. These positions are permanent part time with extended hours if required. All leave is pro rata.

Located in Port's main street, Macrossan Street with magnificent heritage Queenslander façade and wide open verandas, our pubs are full offering with bars, TAB and gaming facilities and well-loved pub bistros known for their emphasis on quality, fresh, local produce.

The Central and Court House are proud to present some of the best live music in their beer gardens most nights of the week.

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our professional and well established management team. Reporting to the Group General Manager, responsibilities will include:
* Staff Management: managing, motivating and on-going training of bar, food and kitchen staff
* Customer Service: superior customer service skills; acting as a meet and greet to all customers using our bar, food and gaming facilities
*Strong food and beverage knowledge and skill: substantial experience in all aspects of beverage making and presentation (beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, coffees, juices, smoothies), bar set-up and cleanliness, and substantial experience with coordinating food floor staff and working harmoniously with the kitchen team
* Ambience: setting up of hotel for day and night trade to create an environment that people want to be in and feel comfortable (e.g. furniture layout, light levels, music volume, fans/ac etc)
* Administration: cash/till handling including administering floats
* Liaison/Coordinator of Entertainment & Security: liaising with live entertainers and managing sport/events televised on big screen and liaising and assisting with security and crowd control
