Mossman Sharks have moved up to sixth on the ladder after back-to-back wins in the Far North Queensland Rugby League competition.

Away to Edmonton Storm on Sunday, the Sharks held off a persistent Storm outfit to triumph 50-26.

In Round 7 at Petersen Park, white-helmeted fullback Rhys Murgha scored three tries and Davin Crampton two as the Sharks ran riot in the second half, scoring six tries in 25 minutes from the 47th minute to the 72nd.

The week before Mossman had a morale-boosting 24-20 victory against a dogged Kangaroos team at home.
