Mossman Port Douglas Counselling Services (MPDCS) is committed to providing affordable, quality, professional, assorted services in the Douglas Shire.

We are providing a monthly women's support group in the Douglas Shire every 2nd Wednesday of the month, as a FREE community service, with gratitude

This particular group is run BY women, FOR women

The first one in 2022 will be held on Wednesday 12th January, 9am to 10am at the QCWA premises, 8 Blake Street Port Douglas

MPDCS will provide this service for the first 6 months of 2022, with a review at that time. If there is enough interest and attendance, the group will continue

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL! Numbers will be capped due to COVID-19 health requirements

A gold coin donation is appreciated, but not required

There will be a group sign-on sheet at the door, and also a document for individuals to read and sign to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the group participants. If an individual is not prepared to sign the document to protect privacy and confidentiality of group participants, unfortunately they will not be able to attend the group, but may be able to make alternative arrangements with the facilitator. Any questions and/or concerns can be raised with the facilitator at any time. This group is inclusive of all women. With COVID requirements, we have to cap numbers for room size. THEREFORE, BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL!
