A second Paul Kelly show has been added for Port Douglas.

Due to popular demand, legendary Australian singer-songwriter Paul Kelly has announced a second Port Douglas Show.

Following the sold-out first show, a second and final show in Port Douglas has been added for this Sunday 18 July at the Port Douglas Yacht Club.

Tickets are on sale now at frontiertouring.com/paulkelly.

Tickets are expected to go quickly after the Saturday 17 July show sold out in minutes.

The Aussie icon will hit the stage on the Yacht Club’s lawns overlooking the beautiful Dickson Inlet. Gates open at 6:30pm both nights.

Manger of the Port Douglas Yacht Club, Sam Leo, said he was stoked to have a second show added.

“I think it’s the greatest thing to have a second Paul Kelly event in Port Douglas,” he said.

“And it’s great for those who missed out on the first show to have a second opportunity to watch the legend live.”

Following the lockdown in Victoria, a number of Victorian shows have had to be postponed giving Kelly and the band longer to enjoy paradise, adding the second show.

“And Port Douglas has ended up on the winning side,” said Mr Leo.

Kelly will have his full band in tow, including Vika and Linda Bull, Bill McDonald, Peter Luscombe, Ash Naylor and Cameron Bruce, when he hits a string of regional centres in July and August.

The now 29-date On The Road Again East Coast Tour kicked off in Queensland on July 2 to rave reviews having now played Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Caloundra, Rockhampton, Mackay, Cairns and a second Cairns show tonight at the Performing Arts Centre.
