Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist – Guest Service Agent to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting with front office operations, handling guest inquiries and reservations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, the ability to work both independently and within a team, a positive solution-focused attitude and a friendly personality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily front office operations, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, guest enquiries and reservations.
• Manage check-ins/check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide guest support and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance.
• Maintain records, reservations systems and financial transactions.
• Assist with invoicing and reconciling financial records to ensure compliance.
• Work collaboratively to support a positive and efficient team environment.

Skills & Experience:
• Experience in front office, property management, or hotel reservations preferred.
• Familiarity with Resly and booking platforms (Stayz, Airbnb, Booking.com) beneficial.
• Strong administrative skills, proficiency in office software, and reservation systems.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional, friendly, and well-presented.
• Availability for weekends, public holidays, and immediate start.

Additional Information:
• Must be an Australian permanent resident and reside in Port Douglas.
• Five-day workweek, including weekends.

Hotel Receptionist Front Desk
Bay Villas Resort is currently searching for a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to join their friendly team 5 days a week or be split between two individuals. Experience not a necessity. Full training can be provided to the right person.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
• Perform accurate and efficient guest check-in, check-outs and accurate credit
card, cash handling and postings .
• Maintaining guest accounts
• Telephone reservations and dealing with different internet distribution channels.
• A professional and welcoming phone manner
• Assisting with all guest enquiries, including tours
• Overseeing daily housekeeping team
Hotel Front Desk Requirements:
• Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

AIRPORT TRANSFER DRIVERS
Exemplar Coaches and Limousines is proud to be the leading airport transfer company in the Cairns-Port Douglas region. We are a family run business operating from Port Douglas since 1993. The majority of Inbound Tour Operators and agents prefer to use our services above others. We also service many local hotels in Port Douglas, Palm Cove and Cairns and the general public.

It is company policy to have a narrow and expert focus on airport transfers only. Exemplar is not distracted with local town shuttles and the personal life disruption that has for drivers. Our drivers can plan their lives around work with set weekly rosters and daily manifests received by 5pm the day before work. Our head office and depot is located in Craiglie, as such, we currently seek airport transfer drivers who reside in the Port Douglas and Mossman area. These positions are part time permanent with extended hours up to fulltime equivalent if required. All superannuation and entitlements apply as per the National Employment Standards.
