Queensland Ambulance Services provide a daily round up of their activities across the state


Desailly – vehicle in flood water

Two females in their 30s and a male in his 20s were transported to Mareeba Hospital in stable conditions after their vehicle became caught in flood water on the Mulligan Highway just after 1.30am.

Plainland – single-vehicle rollover

Paramedics assessed four patients following a single-vehicle rollover on the Warrego Highway eastbound and Cemetery Road at 11.04pm. Two stable teenage males did not require hospitalisation and two females in their late teens were transported to Toowoomba Hospital, one with minor knee and hand injuries and the other with minor head lacerations. Critical Care paramedics were on board for transport to hospital.

Hendra – alleged wounding

Paramedics, including critical care, transported a male in his 70s with minor back injuries and a male in his 60s with a forehead laceration to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in stable conditions after an alleged assault at a private address at 10.45pm.

Miami – bicycle incident

Paramedics, including critical care and the High Acuity Response Unit, transported a male in his 20s to the Gold Coast University Hospital in serious condition with a significant head laceration after a bicycle crashed into a sign on Bardon Avenue and Lutana Avenue at 10.30pm.

Beerburrum – single-vehicle rollover

Paramedics, including critical care, responded to reports of a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of Glass House Woodford Road and Old Gympie Road at 10.23pm. Six teenagers were transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital including:

  • Stable female with knee pain
  • Stable female with an elbow injury and spinal precautions
  • Stable male with minor injuries
  • Stable female with minor head laceration
  • Stable male with minor injuries
  • Serious but stable female with serious head injuries

Southport – single-vehicle into pole

A female in her 20s was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following a single-vehicle crash into a pole on Smith Street at 10.18pm.

Pacific Pines – two-vehicle crash

A female in her 50s was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with a shoulder and ankle injury following a two-vehicle crash on Pacific Pines Boulevard at 8.41pm.\

Noosa Heads – snake bite

A female in her 30s was transported to Noosa Hospital in a stable condition following a reported snake bite to the foot at a location off Hastings Street at 8.10pm.

Springsure – single-vehicle rollover

A male in his 20s and a female in her teens with a chest, back and knee injury were transported to Emerald Hospital in stable conditions following a single-vehicle rollover on Wealwandangie Road at 7.59pm.

Caboolture – structure fire

Paramedics were on standby at a structure fire on Henzell Road at 7.15pm however no patients required treatment or transport to hospital.

Hibernia – single-vehicle rollover

A male in his teens was assessed following a single-vehicle rollover on Gregory Highway at 6.59pm however did not require transport to hospital.\

Habana – motorcycle crash

A male in his 40s was transported to Mackay Hospital in a stable hospital with a back and wrist injury following a motorcycle crash at a private residence at 5.53pm.
