Port were highly impressive last week in their win over South Cairns.

Port will look to exact minor revenge on Centrals Trinity Bulldogs when the two sides clash Saturday afternoon at the Sportsground.

The Bulldogs are one of two outfits Port is yet to beat this season after Centrals got the chocolates over a month ago in an absorbing contest, a match played for the most part in torrential, driving rain in the Northern Beaches.

This time Port has the home ground advantage and preventing the impact of a former Geelong and Suns tall will be a key priority.

“Obviously Zac Smith being a former AFL player is a real danger so our focus is to nullify his impact the best we can,” Crocs coach Brad Cooper told Newsport.

“We have a number of players who we’ll look to rotate on him, so we’ll just see how we go throughout the day.”

The Crocs were highly impressive last week in their thumping win over the Cutters and at home, will start favourites over the ever-improving Doggies’ outfit.

Meantime it will be third versus fourth when Mossman enjoys home ground against Ivanhoes in CDRL action on Saturday.

Missing a number of key players the Sharks got the job done against Southern Suburbs last week but this week’s assignment looms as a much tougher assignment.

Only one win and a slightly better for and against separates the two sides in what looms as a mouth-watering round 10 showdown.

Lastly, the Reef Raiders will look to rectify last week’s big loss to JCU when they take on the Crusaders at Petersen Park on Saturday afternoon.
