Mossman Support Services have bid farewell to Jill Bradley, who for the past 15 years has been a Community Development Officer.

She received a rousing send-off on her last day (23 December) and can now look forward to her semi-retirement.

While still managing a private business, Jill will have more time to enjoy for herself and her family.

Jill has been an important part of Mossman Support Services, developing programs including Lend Lease, Volunteers Program, The Men’s Shed, Seniors Week Celebrations, Weekly Community Kitchen, Christmas Day Lunch, Muruku art Group, Work for The Dole Project and Mossman Moppets.

Throughout her time as Community Development Officer, she has been of constant support to colleagues and other community service providers.

Using a people-centred approach, Jill was able to ensure many individuals in the community benefited from Jill’s work, gaining support, confidence and empowerment which helped them go forward in life with a feeling of stronger community connections and being active contributors in their community themself.
