Parking fees in Cairns will increase by 20c an hour from Tuesday 4 January to $2 an hour. Image: Cairns Regional Council

Parking fees in Cairns will increase by 20c an hour from Tuesday 4 January to $2 an hour.

Centre median parking across the CBD remains free, but time limited.

Parking is also free after 2pm on Saturday and all-day Sunday, with the exception of the Southern Esplanade car park (Lagoon car park).

Parking is always free on all public holidays.
